Round Table on the Language Act

On June 19, 2019, the head of the Department of Ukrainian Studies Tsiganenko Victoria took part in a roundtable organized by the “Prosvita” KSU named after Taras Shevchenko. The event was held at the Kharkiv Regional Small Academy of Sciences of the Kharkiv Regional Council.

At the event, representatives of various NGOs discussed the issue of setting up teaching and examination institutions for studying the Ukrainian language and their status in connection with the implementation of the Law of Ukraine “On ensuring the functioning of the Ukrainian language as a state language”.

Leonardo da Vinci’s notebooks

The London Museum of Victoria and Albert laid out free access to notebooks by Leonardo da Vinci. The site of the museum contains five notebooks, combined into three small volumes. The records are dated from 1487 to 1508. They present sketches of the great scientist in such industries as architecture, geometry, hydraulic engineering, measurement of solids, as well as drawings of costumes, parts of the human body and much more:

Finish of the course “The Ukrainian language – it’s easy!”

The month language free course “The Ukrainian language – it’s easy!” in “Language Clubs NURE” has been finished. During the month the listeners tried to avoid specking mistakes, to phrase themselves properly in Ukrainian.

Besides usual studies the listeners watched a film “Live” in the wonderful cinema given by the Science Park “Synergy”. The listeners made excursion about old streets of our city.

L., created the project “My Favorite Ukrainian Kharkiv”, which became the winner of the city competition of innovation-investment and image projects with promotion of the leadership of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics and Science Park “Synergy”.
